Shipping & Pickup

 

Here’s how our order processing and deliveries work here at Little Boxes NYC:

  • We bake all goodies to order and ship to any U.S. address.

  • We also offer FREE local pickup at our home bakeshop in downtown Brooklyn, NY.

  • All orders must be placed before 11:59pm Eastern Time each Sunday to be shipped out or picked up by Wednesday that same week.

SHIPPING

Where do you ship?

We ship our Little Boxes to the delivery address included at checkout. Exact shipping prices are calculated at checkout. Little Boxes NYC cannot be held responsible if the package is lost, stolen or damaged.

What does shipping cost?

We currently offer $7.00 flat rate, ground UPS shipping on all NY State orders. Exact shipping prices for all non NY addresses are calculated at checkout.

How do I place orders shipping to multiple addresses?

At this time, our site is only able to process orders with one shipping address at a time. To ship to multiple addresses, please place separate orders for each one.

When will my order arrive?

Typical deliveries within the NY State Area arrive in 1-2 business days, with deliveries upstate arriving in 2-3. There may be a time in which your delivery gets delayed due to weather or other operations delays. Not to worry: because our cookies are baked fresh, they will still be fresh and delicious when they arrive!

Do you offer rush shipping?

Rush orders are an additional fee and are subject to availability.

How do you package your cookies?

We package our orders with care, using proper padding to minimize cracks and crumbles. That said, Little Boxes NYC cannot be held responsible if a box or its contents arrive damaged. Unfortunately, cookies are fragile, and we cannot promise they will remain in perfect condition once they are transferred from our hands to our customers, USPS, etc.. We do everything in our power to prepare them for transportation, but cannot offer refunds for any breakage or imperfections that may occur. Repurpose your crumbs, they will still taste delicious!

We also do our best to utilize recyclable materials and are consistently trying to find ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Hit us up with any further ideas here.

PICKUP

Do you offer pickup?

Yes, we are able to offer pickup to local customers as an option to save on shipping. Please keep in mind, we are a small home-bakeshop and have very limited hours.

All orders must be picked up at the time specified upon check-out.

Where and when do I pick up my order?

All pickups must be made on Wednesdays between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM ET from our home bakeshop located in Boerum Hill in Brooklyn. Full pickup details are provided at checkout.

If you are unable to pick up on this date AND between these times, please do not select this option. Our cookies can easily be shipped to you!

How do I get in touch if I’m delayed to pickup my order?

We get it! Trains and traffic suck and things happen, but please understand that we are a small bakeshop, not a retail operation.

If you are delayed in picking up your order within the designated pickup timeframe, please send an email to littleboxesnyc@gmail.com to let us know as soon as possible.

We will do our best to accommodate, however cannot guarantee any pickups outside of 3:00PM - 6:00PM ET each Wednesday.

GENERAL

What’s the best way to ensure my order arrives before a specific date?

Baked treats are the best part of any celebratory moment or even just on a regular day! All shipping times are estimations from third parties and cannot be guaranteed. If you’re ordering for a specific event, we strongly recommend placing your order far enough in advance to ensure availability and timeliness especially during peak/holiday seasons. For more detail, please see our “Shipping” section above.

If you would like to place an order in advance, our cookies do freeze beautifully and can be held in the freezer happily - just thaw at room temperature for a few hours before your event or pop in an oven at 350 to return to its warm, gooey goodness.

Oops! I made a mistake placing my order. Can you help?

We’re on the case! If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we will do our best to make adjustments to the contents and shipping details. Simply email littleboxesnyc@gmail.com with your order number and we can help adjust. Please note, changes made after checkout are not guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

Where is my order?

You’ll get an email confirmation immediately after you place your order and receive an additional email the day your order is shipped from our bakeshop. The shipping confirmation email will include the order’s tracking number, which you can click to get updates on transit.

Help! There was a problem with my order.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Do you accept returns?

Given the perishable nature of our cookies, we aren’t able to accept returns. If you encountered an issue with your order, please email littleboxesnyc@gmail.com and let us know what’s going on so we can best assist.

Do you issue refunds?

We do not offer refunds however, if you have an issue with your order, we ask you to reach out to us and we will do our best to resolve it.
